Summer (July–August)
Peak season with the longest days and everything open. The busiest time, but also the most vibrant. July is statistically the wettest month—expect afternoon thunderstorms.
- All gorges operational: Edmund Gorge joins Wild Gorge from mid-July (limited operation). Both boat routes available.
- Swimming at Kyjov Dam: Natural swimming spot just 1.5 km from ALF. Crystal-clear water surrounded by forest.
- Cool forest walks: Kyjov Valley and deep gorges offer refreshing shade on hot days.
- Sunset viewpoints: Mariina skála and Jetřichovice rocks glow golden at dusk.
Autumn (September–October)
The most photogenic season. Golden beech forests, misty mornings, and the perfect balance of pleasant weather and peaceful trails. A photographer's paradise.
- Peak foliage mid-October: Beech forests around Růžovský vrch and Jetřichovice turn brilliant gold and amber.
- Last boat rides: Gorges operate until October 31st. Magical reflections on calm water.

Winter (November–March)
Silent, snow-dusted trails and a magical stillness. In deep cold snaps, the spectacular Brtníky icefalls appear (January–February). A hidden gem for adventurous visitors.
- Brtníky Icefalls: When temperatures drop below -10°C for several days, spectacular frozen waterfalls form near Vlčí potok (late Jan–Feb).
- Pravčická Gate: Open Fri–Sun 10:00–16:00. Snow-covered arch is breathtaking—and you'll often have it to yourself.
